Here to Help Initiative: Progress Report

Written by Naked

It’s April 2020. The world is in a state of free-fall as the coronavirus takes grip. Businesses of all shapes and sizes are rethinking how they operate, some struggling to stay alive.

At Naked, we took an immediate hit and were beginning to feel the same. Instead of spinning our wheels worrying about things we couldn’t change, we decided to offer up our resources, know-how and experience to help small and medium sized companies prepare for what’s next. So, on April 28th, we launched our Here to Help video on our social channels to get the word out. We really didn’t know what to expect, but almost immediately, we had responses from businesses across Canada that needed some fresh thinking, new ideas and communications help.

Through Here to Help we’ve built 16 new relationships, from Paralegal Firms to Care Homes, and Charities to Women’s Health Clinics. We’ve worked with new clients to build social media strategies, to give content 101 consultations, to provide brand audits and strategic thinking, to branding exercises and so much more.

Below, we’re highlighting three wonderful clients we’ve met and guided through Here to Help

  1. Vaultt

Vaultt is an information management and communication platform that helps families and caregivers securely store, organize and share important information. Frustrated by the inability to share important information about her daughter with her ex-husband, plus the additional stress of caring for her ageing parents, Founder Audrey Bond created the app to help others in her situation.

When Vaultt contacted us, they had a lot of the work done: a website, the research, and of course, the app (currently in beta). With their official launch quickly approaching, we’ve been working with Vaultt to fine-tune their communications strategy, messaging and media plan. We’re also in the process of putting together launch materials for them to use across social media, the app store, and their website.

2. My Body Couture

Janis Isaman of My Body Couture is a highly accomplished personal trainer based in Calgary, working to heal the everyday aches and pains that build in our bodies over time. Of course, with the onset of COVID-19, she was forced to close it down.

Given the circumstances, we’ve all seen a huge uptick in fitness instructors and classes moving online and building their digital presences, and Janis needed help doing just that. We put together a social media and digital marketing playbook for Janis to run with as she grows and develops her business for the digital world.

3. Caribou

Caribou is a tech-startup in the home healthcare space. They’ve created an app that partners with home care agencies to stabilize schedules by bridging the gap between people looking for Personal Support Workers (PSWs) at home, and registered PSWs looking for work.

In order to get their message across to PSWs, home care agencies and families, we’ve been working with the Caribou team to refine their brand positioning and communication strategy to ensure that their brand resonates with families, PSWs and home care agencies.

Suffice it to say, Here to Help has been a roaring success and we’re grateful to be providing help to those who need it.  And we know there are many other businesses who still need help. So, if you’re a small to medium business or a non-profit who needs help right now, please get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.
